Playing Het Muzieklokaal has been a dream ever since entering the room as a dancer. To be gifted the opportunity to play this room during Het Weekend on November 25 (2023) meant a lot to me. For years I was imaging how this could be. Which tracks to play? Which energy can there be touched and shared? How will certain tracks sound? How to create cohesion in the room? How to share my internal world through music? How to build? To maintain? How to let go, to have fun and enjoy the present moment? Many questions that luckily disappeared while playing. This set started at 01.00 and ended around 04.30 in the night. Being surrounded by close friends, friendly faces and a loving energy in the room was everything I could hope for and more. I will cherish the emotions that came free and shared that night until I'm not here anymore. Thank you Veronique and Sezin for wanting to do this and believing in me, and a big big shout out to the Tech Team for being so on point and creating ease and comfort during the night.
