This was my first (and only) time playing in the basement - and a big honour to be sharing the booth with both Marcellus Pittman and Dee Diggs. I remember feeling quite nervous the days before, but as soon as the night started I felt super comfortable: so much space in the booth to move and dance around freely, amazing sound also, and some of my closest friends in front of me from the beginning. The darkness in the basement made for a different experience from that in most other clubs, and made me focus more on what I wanted to play. I couldn't really see it, but as my set progressed I could feel and hear the room had filled up with people. My three hours flew by really, and it felt so good to be able to play exactly what I wanted to play in this specific place that was, and is, so dear to me.
