Upstairs housier set for Het Weekend, I remember starting with moodymann "jan" for the first time ever, and playing a lot of Detroit and Chicago stuff that night. Carlos Valdes played after me and I remember it drove me crazy trying to I.d. a tune with " i got sunshiiiiine..." vocals. Been playing it out decades ago, but couldn't remember at firstplace. Found it in the end, so I could find my inner peace and go pick the record out of my shelves the other day back home.
