We were still not finished with the artist dinner when I was about to start my opening set in the basement. I had my dessert in the DJ booth, the club was pitch-black and I used my phone light to see the plate and eat. I believe someone licked my hand when I once reached over the counter during my set. The club was still too dark to see. After Barker finished his live set, JP Enfant and I played a spontaneous back to back closing that night, I remember drinking Ketel One vodka from water glasses. De School is the club that probably influenced me the most as a visitor when I lived in Amsterdam for a while. I am grateful to have played there. Big thanks to Luc and JP.
