It felt like a dream come true being able to play my 1st (and last) set at Het Muzieklokaal. I’ve only got to experience De School since the re-opening after the lockdown, so I’d say I’m quite a late bloomer in that sense. It’s been a short but very powerful period of time for me experiencing De School. My set on 23/09, from beginning to end, is a special memory on its own. The room, the crowd, the sound system, my selections, they all connected at once and it all elevated during the last 30 minutes where I felt like I got lost (in a good way:)), but in the zone and hyper focused at the same time, trying to take in the special moment but also not really being aware what was going on. A feeling that’s difficult to put into words, but a feeling that stays with me always.
