I only played De School and turned 30 once but luckily both events happened on the same day. A champagne cork popped after my last track: a testament of the club's panache and the team's care for detail. I had just closed Muzieklokaal during a 30 hours or so weekend party. I had no idea what I was going to play and don't really remember it either ... but the dancers were the superstars anyway. Memories of friendly faces at the front, the steamy energy around and the elastic moves on the podium behind are still strong. After all, we are stardust, and this is what we do: we dance.
