Playing at De School for the first time, before Surgeon and just being surrounded by lovely people and a very open minded crowd was already such a blessing. I think my favorite part was when Tony (Surgeon) arrived and stayed 40 minutes in the booth, which made me so nervous (opening for a legend!!) that at one point I accidentally hit the bpm pitch of one of the cdjs while I was beat matching and for one second you can tell it was off but I was surprised how quickly I reacted (even though I was sweating af in this moment) and in the end, as Rihanna says: never a failure, always a lesson. This night was definitely, despite the little mistakes, one of my highlights of 2022.
