  We were a crew from Brussels. 3 days of Dekmantel on our feet. We decided to go to Deschool on Sunday. After we beached on one of the wooden structures of the garden for hours, listening to amazing ethereal 80’s songs, I let go of my crew and went downstairs for a dance where CEM was banging. I stayed there for a few minutes then I realised later that I was dancing for horus. Went back upstairs where the sun was finally out. Everyone was looking for me. They told me there was this girl upstairs (Muzieklokaal) playing the most incredible music. I joined. Upsammy was playing the most amazing IDM I’ve ever heard. Trippy and mindfucking in the best way. We were around 100 people but we were all listening and dancing to what Upsammy was playing without talking about anything else than the tracks she was layering. That set marked my mind so strongly that I recognised tracks she played later that year in other mixes. Among which a few tracks from that incredible Application album called System Fork that became one of my favourites since then.
